For those not familiar with some of the architecture in Boston this is nice video.  Boston is a great town to visit and its not a huge tourist trap.  Although don't come here now its hot and humid.  Come in the fall and see the great colors too.

Sci Fi TV Series based in Boston?

Its certainly nice to see TV shows based in Boston.  I grew up in the subburbs just outside the city and it is really a neat place for film of any kind.  There are a whole bunch of photographers that really like Boston for its mix of modern buildings mixed with historic sites and old architecture.

However when I saw a TV show that was Sci Fi based being shot here I thought....gee I hope it doesn't suck.  This showing looks pretty good as far as TV Sci Fi goes.  And with Noah Wyle of ER Fame, Dale Dye in just about everything, and Mpho Koaho from Four Brothers  in the mix I feel like there is some relatively good TV personalities going to flock to this show.  And given the storyline probably plenty of room for walk-ons and other folks to come and go with the very nomadic survival nature of the storyline.
